Totolag Homestay
Experience an authentic village life. Totolag Home Stay is own and manage by Nicholas and Nancy Vores. It is located in a local village on Mota-Lava about an hour truck ride from the airport.
Totolag simply means ‘Stay Forever. This homestay is located in a village giving you a unique Vanuatu experience. It is your home away from home with three bungalows built from local materials.
Nicholas and Nancy invite you to be part of their daily activities. Nicholas is a farmer and will take you to the family’s vegetable garden giving you an opportunity to plant local crops while you can also be with Nancy to prepare local foods in the traditional kitchen. Foods are also served in the local kitchen and the guests dine together with the host in a traditional way.
They can also take you to church on Sunday or to a nakamal for a taste of kava. We offer room service and laundry services. Prices are as below:
Rate per night per person: 2,500VT with breakfast included
Lunch: 500VT per person.
Dinner: 1,500VT per person with coconut crab or lobster.
